This is a blog about dirt bike adventures. After a 25+ year break from dirt bikes, I made the plunge in 2009, and bought a new Suzuki DRZ400E. The plan is to build up my skills with a bunch of shorter rides, and then to eventually explore our great country.
I live in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. We’re lucky here, in that in one direction we’ve got the fabulous Stockton Sand Dunes, and in another direction, there’s the Watagan State Forest. Between those two points, there’s a whole bunch of good dirt trails!
When I’m not on the DRZ400, I can be found either tinkering in the garage on my Ducati 848, cycling, or running. My other blog is That Ducati Guy. Many of the photos on this blog and the other one feature “Levi”, our huge (60kg) bundle of fun (Rhodesian Ridgeback). I can also be found on Twitter, aka @coledude.
